When dreaming of an event as grand as your wedding day, many couples dream of a venue that is just as grand to fit the occasion. With timeless style and 19th Century charm, the Parliament House in Melbourne, located at the top of Bourke Street, is a venue that symbolises strength and solidity with its prominent steps and outstanding colonnade.
This seat of the Victorian state government offers a number of function venues that are available for wedding receptions. There is the Member’s Dining Room, located on Level 1, with its elegant timber walls hung with contemporary artworks, which can cater for 120 people seated or 180 for cocktail style receptions. The Queen’s Hall can cater for a larger number of people, 200 seated or 350 cocktail style. The hall has majestic architecture and an alluring atmosphere of opulence that will translate flawlessly into your wedding photographs. For smaller receptions, there is also the charming Federation Room.
I can assure you that we will work together to craft a compelling photographic narrative of your wedding day using the diverse backdrops that the Parliament House has to offer.
