Filmmaker's venue notes

Filming at Potters Receptions

Potters is a purpose-built wedding venue on Jumping Creek Road in Warrandyte, where the north-eastern suburbs give way to the Yarra Valley. The building is contemporary, designed around natural light and the seasons, and sits in six acres of native gardens with boardwalks, water features and waterfalls. There are three ceremony spots: a non-denominational chapel, a garden gazebo under the maples, and the courtyard hung with wisteria. The reception room seats up to 220, with eight suites and a penthouse on site.

Veri has photographed two weddings and filmed a third here. A day at Potters stays on the property: ceremony in the garden or chapel, portraits along the boardwalks, and the reception a short walk away. Warrandyte’s bush and the Yarra are close by if you want river frames.

On this day the whole film stayed on the property: getting ready, the ceremony, portraits and the reception at Potters Receptions.
