Greenfields Albert Park is a lakeside venue at the corner of Lakeside Drive and Queens Road in Albert Park, about three kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, set between Albert Park Lake and the Albert Park Golf Course. Ceremonies run on the outdoor Sunset Deck over the golf course or in the indoor Sunlounge with its mosaic tiling, and the main room has floor-to-ceiling windows, a large dance floor and a bar, seating 160 with room to dance or 500 for a cocktail reception.
Liana and Matt held both ceremony and reception at Greenfields and had their portraits at Albert Park Lake, a few steps from the door. That is the practical case for the venue: water, city skyline and open lawn within walking distance, then a light-filled room to come back to, so no bus and no lost hour in traffic.
