Lauren and Jera’s wedding film: the ceremony at Christ Church Lavender Bay and portraits and the reception at Gunners Barracks.
The film follows the day in the order it happened: the ceremony at Christ Church Lavender Bay and portraits and the reception at Gunners Barracks.
Ceremony: Christ Church Lavender Bay, Corner of Walker St and Lavender St, Lavender Bay NSW 2060. Portraits and Reception: Gunners Barracks, Suakin Dr, Mosman NSW.
Gunners Barracks is a colonial military building at Georges Heights in Mosman, on Sydney’s north shore. It was finished in 1873 to the design of Colonial Architect James Barnet, built from sandstone quarried on site as two parallel wings around a flagged courtyard, with a second storey added in 1891. The army held it until 2002; the Harbour Trust then restored it and reopened it for high tea and weddings. It sits in bushland at the end of Suakin Drive above Sydney Harbour.
We have filmed three weddings at Gunners Barracks in 2022 and 2023. The rooms are the Harbour Terrace, the Harbour View Lawn, the Sandstone Courtyard, the Drawing Room and the main dining room, so a ceremony on the lawn and a reception inside stay within a few steps of each other. Veri photographs and films weddings across Sydney and is available for Gunners Barracks wedding photos.
On this day the film moved between 2 locations: the ceremony at Christ Church Lavender Bay and portraits and the reception at Gunners Barracks.
