Yering Farm Wines Wedding Videography in Yering, Melbourne

Yering Farm is a family-owned winery on St Huberts Road at Yering, in the Yarra Valley about an hour from Melbourne. The Johns family planted vines here in 1989 on a property of rolling vineyard and orchard, and the cellar door and reception room is a refurbished 1800s hay barn, with the old farm gates and grain silos still standing beside it. Ceremonies are held on the lawn with the vines and the ranges behind, and the venue takes up to 150 guests.

We photographed Lindsey and Dennis’s wedding here, ceremony and reception both on the farm, and we have filmed a wedding at Yering Farm as well. The weathered timber inside the barn eats light, so by evening everything glows amber, and we walked the couple through the orchard at dusk before the shed’s festoons took over for the party. Yering Farm sits on a rise over the valley floor, and the orchard side of the property catches the softest late light.
