Tamburlaine Organic Wines is on McDonalds Road, Pokolbin, in the heart of the Hunter Valley. The winery was established in 1966, bought by a small group in 1985, and is now one of Australia’s largest organic producers, with vineyards here and at Orange. Weddings run from The Lodge near the gate, a large air-conditioned room with a deck looking over a lake, the vines and open country, for 60 to 180 guests.
Ceremonies are held in the garden under a broad old tree, with lawns around it for portraits before the walk into the vines.
