Bernadette & Trent - Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club, Williamstown

Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club · Williamstown, VIC

Waterside Wedding · City: Melbourne · Venue: Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club

Bernadette and Trent married at the RVMYC with the masts swaying behind the vows and the whole Melbourne skyline floating across the bay. Pier portraits at golden hour, city lights switching on over the water by dessert. Williamstown gives you the sea and the city in one frame — greedy, and we love it. The story

Mast forest, bay breeze, the skyline across the water

Ceremony & reception: Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club @ Williamstown.

Skyline from the pier

The pier at Williamstown points straight back at the city, so every portrait carries the skyline for free. We waited for the ferry wake to settle, then shot the reflections as the towers lit up one by one.

City lights across Hobsons Bay

RVMYC’s deck faces the city across Hobsons Bay — the skyline lights arriving at dusk are the signature frame, and we time the couple session to catch both golden hour and the switch-on. The pier and rocky foreshore give texture without leaving the venue. Bay breezes are constant; veils fly and we encourage it.
