Elysha & Mitch - The Cosmopolitan Hotel, Trentham

The Cosmopolitan Hotel · Trentham, VIC

Country Wedding · Region: VIC - Macedon Ranges · City: Melbourne · Venue: Cosmopolitan Hotel

Elysha and Mitch took over the Cosmo — Trentham’s grand old pub reborn, all pressed tin, timber verandahs and country-town warmth. Vows in the garden, pints on the lawn, and a spud-country sunset down the main street. The kind of wedding where the whole town seems quietly invited. The story

Pressed tin, pub garden, main-street sunset

Ceremony & reception: The Cosmopolitan Hotel @ Trentham.

A lap of Trentham

Country pubs photograph like film sets — verandah light, worn timber, beer garden laughter. We stole Elysha and Mitch for a lap of Trentham’s wide streets at dusk and the town played along perfectly.

Shooting at The Cosmopolitan Hotel, Trentham

Garden and verandah

The Cosmopolitan’s garden gets open sky for ceremonies while the verandah gives instant cover if the Macedon weather turns — a genuine each-way bet. Trentham’s main street runs broadly east–west, so the last light shoots straight down it for the golden frames. The falls ten minutes away make a lush add-on if the timeline allows.
