A hundred and ten acres of hinterland behind Mudgeeraba, a rainforest deck, and a homestead walled in glass
Austinvilla Estate is a private property on Austinville Road in the Gold Coast hinterland behind Mudgeeraba, 110 acres of green country and palms that couples take for the whole day. Ceremonies run on the Rainforest Deck, an open pavilion looking out over the hinterland, or in the all-weather Wedding Pavilion. The Homestead handles the reception: an open-plan room with exposed timber beams, chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows onto the hills. There is a pool, a fire pit and accommodation for up to 90 guests.
Veri photographed Tiffiny and Aaron’s wedding at Austinvilla from getting ready through ceremony, portraits and reception, all on the estate. With the accommodation right there, the morning was unhurried and the portraits could wait for the last light on the ridges rather than being squeezed in before the drive to a reception somewhere else.
Seven small things that make a real difference on the day — learned across hundreds of weddings. None of them involve practising poses.
In motion, unposed · FR 15AYou don't need to perform or worry about what you look like. The best photos come from real moments: a glance, a laugh, a shared breath. Let go a little — we'll guide when needed, and the best unfolds naturally.
A little breathing room between getting ready, the ceremony and couple portraits makes all the difference. It gives us space for spontaneous shots — and gives you time to soak it all in.
A quiet lane, an open field, a textured wall — we love meaningful or interesting spots. Trust us to find great light, but if you've got a place you love, let's work it in.
Phones can distract from the emotion (and your photos). Asking guests to be fully present makes for cleaner frames and a more heartfelt atmosphere.
Clutter-free rooms with natural light are a photographer's dream, and calm energy in the morning sets the tone for the day. Keep the space tidy — or assign a friend to do a quick sweep before we arrive.
Especially during portraits — hydration and a little sugar go a long way in keeping energy and moods high.
We've worked at hundreds of weddings and we're here to make you look and feel amazing. Trust us with the light, the angles, the pace — we've got you.
Hinterland afternoons are humid and the light goes gold quickly once the sun drops toward the range, so a four o’clock ceremony on the deck lands the couple in the best hour. The Homestead windows put the view behind the head table; we expose for the outside and let the chandeliers glow. The fire pit is the late-evening frame. The Wedding Pavilion means a summer storm changes nothing. The gallery below is Tiffiny and Aaron’s wedding.
