Thirty acres above Seville, three suites, an infinity pool, and the Warburton ranges across the paddocks.
Dalblair Bed & Breakfast sits on Ducks Lane at Seville, in the Yarra Valley about 52 km east of Melbourne. It is a B&B on around 30 acres with three suites: the Garden Suite in the main homestead, opening through French doors to a verandah; Dalry Cottage, with two bedrooms and a wood fire; and Water’s Edge, a contemporary apartment beside the infinity pool. The property looks across farmland to the Warburton ranges, and the Warburton Rail Trail and the Seville wineries are close by.
Reece got ready here with his groomsmen before his wedding to Emma at Elmswood Estate, also in Seville, and that gallery sits below. A B&B like this is a calm way to start a valley wedding: rooms with real daylight, a verandah for the suit and the shoes, and a short drive to the ceremony.
Seven small things that make a real difference on the day — learned across hundreds of weddings. None of them involve practising poses.
In motion, unposed · FR 15AYou don't need to perform or worry about what you look like. The best photos come from real moments: a glance, a laugh, a shared breath. Let go a little — we'll guide when needed, and the best unfolds naturally.
A little breathing room between getting ready, the ceremony and couple portraits makes all the difference. It gives us space for spontaneous shots — and gives you time to soak it all in.
A quiet lane, an open field, a textured wall — we love meaningful or interesting spots. Trust us to find great light, but if you've got a place you love, let's work it in.
Phones can distract from the emotion (and your photos). Asking guests to be fully present makes for cleaner frames and a more heartfelt atmosphere.
Clutter-free rooms with natural light are a photographer's dream, and calm energy in the morning sets the tone for the day. Keep the space tidy — or assign a friend to do a quick sweep before we arrive.
Especially during portraits — hydration and a little sugar go a long way in keeping energy and moods high.
We've worked at hundreds of weddings and we're here to make you look and feel amazing. Trust us with the light, the angles, the pace — we've got you.
The homestead verandah and the lawn edge with the ranges behind are the two frames I go for, and the pool terrace works for the groomsmen once everyone is dressed. Low morning light across the paddocks means an early call here is no hardship. The suites are generous enough to shoot inside without moving furniture, which is not always true of a B&B. If the weather turns, the French doors and the verandah keep everything dry. The gallery below is Emma and Reece’s Elmswood Estate wedding, which began here.
