Baxter Barn is on Sages Road at Baxter, at the northern end of the Mornington Peninsula and about forty minutes from Melbourne. The barn stands on the grounds of Sages Cottage, a heritage-listed cottage from the 1850s, on a 34-acre property planted with native trees. Ceremonies are held on a small island thick with natives, or beside the old cottage; receptions are in the barn, which seats around eighty and takes up to a hundred.

Ashleigh and Mitch’s gallery runs to more than five hundred frames, which says something about how much there is to work with between the cottage, the paddocks and the barn once the lights come on.
