WhiteChapel Estate is a wedding property on the Western Port Highway at Langwarrin, at the top of the Mornington Peninsula, forty-five minutes from Melbourne. Its chapel is a restored white timber church brought from the goldfields, with arched windows and stained glass, seating up to 90. Around it are four acres of bush and gardens with gum trees, a fountain and a gazebo reached along a box-hedged path. Receptions are in a Cape Cod-style manor with a verandah, for 50 to 120 guests.
Veri photographed Sarah and Cristian’s ceremony and reception here, with portraits at the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne about fifteen minutes down the highway. The estate holds everything for a small to mid-sized wedding: chapel or gazebo for the vows, the lawns for drinks, and the manor for dinner, all within a hundred metres.
For Sarah and Cristian it was the ceremony and reception venue; the day also took in Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne in Cranbourne.
