Lindsey & Dennis - Yering Farm, Yering

Yering Farm · Yering, VIC

Country Wedding · Winery & Vineyard Wedding · Region: VIC - Yarra Valley · City: Melbourne · Venue: Yering Farm Wines

Lindsey and Dennis married at Yering Farm, an 1850s hay shed turned cellar door where the timber is original and the views earn their keep. Ceremony by the old apple orchard, reception under trusses that have seen a century of harvests. Rustic without a single fake milk churn. The story

Old timber, orchard rows, a shed with history

Ceremony & reception: Yering Farm @ Yering.

Through the orchard at dusk

The farm’s weathered timber eats light beautifully — everything inside glows amber by evening. We shot the couple through the orchard at dusk, then let the shed’s festoons take over for the party.

Shooting at Yering Farm, Yering

Late light at Yering Farm

Yering Farm sits on a rise over the valley floor, and the orchard side catches the softest late light on the property. The hay-shed interior runs dark and warm — we bring a touch of flash for the dancefloor and let the timber do the colour. Between ceremony and reception there’s a natural ten-minute window on the western fence line; we guard it jealously.
