We could tell the breeze was going to have a say in Aasher and Nick's wedding the moment Aasher stepped onto The National Golf Club's terrace. Her escort gathered the tulle of her gown as she walked towards an arbour framed by sea and sky. We'd begun the day with Aasher and her bridesmaids at their Cape Schanck Airbnb, while Nick got ready with his groomsmen at RACV Cape Schanck Resort. After the ceremony, we headed to the lookout above Fingal Beach for portraits, then returned to the club for sunset over the fairways. We stayed with them through the speeches, first dance and a packed dance floor.

Ceremony & reception: The National Golf Club, Cape Schanck, Mornington Peninsula.
At the Airbnb, Aasher's bridesmaids crowded around the lacing of her gown; at the RACV resort, Nick was laughing with his groomsmen before they headed out. On The National's terrace, we kept the sea in frame as Aasher came down the aisle and the couple exchanged vows, then moved closer for the smiles and applause. The wind kept us on our toes at the Fingal Beach lookout, but it brought her tulle and the coastal view to life. Inside the clubhouse, speeches drew laughs, Nick twirled Aasher through their first dance, and the dance floor filled. We still slipped out for a few sunset portraits beside the glass balustrade. Those quiet minutes together can happen right in the middle of the party.
At The National Golf Club, we could keep the ocean in a wide ceremony frame without losing the expressions beneath the arbour. The clubhouse gave us another kind of light: window-lit tables by day, then a parquet dance floor bright with movement. We took Aasher and Nick to Fingal Beach for a change of backdrop, but that lookout is a separate stop, so we'd leave a proper pocket of time for it. Back at the club, the sunset drew us out beside the glass balustrade for a few last portraits before the party took over again.
