Clubhouse celebrations, course views and portraits between the fairways
Golf clubs can bring the ceremony, reception and portraits together. The galleries below show two different settings: The National’s Cape Schanck coastline and Riversdale’s tree-lined fairways in Mount Waverley.
At The National Golf Club in Cape Schanck, Aasher and Nick held an ocean-view terrace ceremony and celebrated in the clubhouse. Their gallery also shows sunset portraits on the club terrace and separate lookout portraits above Fingal Beach. Sue and Chris held their reception at Riversdale Golf Club in Mount Waverley after a church ceremony and Canterbury Gardens portraits. Their gallery includes the clubhouse terrace, course paths, car portraits at the entrance, speeches and dancing.

Seven small things that make a real difference on the day — learned across hundreds of weddings. None of them involve practising poses.
In motion, unposed · FR 15AYou don't need to perform or worry about what you look like. The best photos come from real moments: a glance, a laugh, a shared breath. Let go a little — we'll guide when needed, and the best unfolds naturally.
A little breathing room between getting ready, the ceremony and couple portraits makes all the difference. It gives us space for spontaneous shots — and gives you time to soak it all in.
A quiet lane, an open field, a textured wall — we love meaningful or interesting spots. Trust us to find great light, but if you've got a place you love, let's work it in.
Phones can distract from the emotion (and your photos). Asking guests to be fully present makes for cleaner frames and a more heartfelt atmosphere.
Clutter-free rooms with natural light are a photographer's dream, and calm energy in the morning sets the tone for the day. Keep the space tidy — or assign a friend to do a quick sweep before we arrive.
Especially during portraits — hydration and a little sugar go a long way in keeping energy and moods high.
We've worked at hundreds of weddings and we're here to make you look and feel amazing. Trust us with the light, the angles, the pace — we've got you.
Ask the club which holes are clear before you walk out, because play often runs until dusk. The terrace is where the club expects photographs; the better frames are usually two holes along, at a bunker lip, a stone bridge or a lake edge. On coastal courses the wind is part of the picture, so lean into the veil. Bring flats for soft turf. Function rooms are lit for dining, so the first dance gets bounced flash. The galleries below are the golf club weddings we have photographed.
