We began Sue and Chris's wedding day in two Mount Waverley homes, then moved with them to Syndal Baptist Church. We held a wide frame for Sue's walk down the aisle because the guests standing around her were part of that moment. At Canterbury Gardens, the wedding party wandered into the background as Sue and Chris kissed beside a lamp post. Later, at Riversdale Golf Club, we caught the breeze in Sue's veil, their classic car at the entrance and the applause as they came through the reception doors.

A church ceremony, garden portraits & a golf-club reception

Preparation: two homes in Mount Waverley. Ceremony: Syndal Baptist Church, Glen Waverley. Portraits: Canterbury Gardens, Canterbury, then Riversdale Golf Club. Reception: Riversdale Golf Club, Mount Waverley.

The gallery opens with casual-clothes portraits at Canterbury Gardens. On the wedding day, we photographed Sue and Chris getting ready in separate Mount Waverley homes before meeting them at the church. Later, at Canterbury Gardens, they kissed beside a lamppost while the wedding party wandered into the background. Back at Riversdale, a gust lifted Sue's veil across Chris as they smiled beside their classic car. We followed them in through the reception doors, then moved closer for the dancing. Sue's smile as she looked at Chris is the kind of small moment we love catching in the middle of a big day.

Shooting at Riversdale Golf Club, Mount Waverley

At Riversdale, we found guests along the clubhouse terrace and space for Sue and Chris on the course paths and fairway. Their classic car sat at the main entrance, close enough for a few portraits before the reception. Canterbury Gardens was a separate stop after the church. If you're planning that Glen Waverley-to-Canterbury-to-Mount Waverley route, we'd allow travel time so the portraits don't feel rushed.
