Beach Wedding · Waterside Wedding · Region: NSW - Sydney North Shore · City: Sydney · Venues: Balmoral Rotunda · Bathers' Pavilion · Bradleys Head
Sabine and Arthur's waterside wedding took us from Bradleys Head Amphitheatre to Bathers’ Pavilion on Sydney's North Shore. We let the harbour fill the frame as they walked the stone jetty after their ceremony. At Balmoral, pink clouds hung over the rocks near Bathers’. Inside, the long tables were bright with flowers, and Arthur lifted Sabine during their first dance as guests watched. After dark, we stepped back out onto the terrace with them for a quieter portrait.

Ceremony: Bradleys Head Amphitheatre, Mosman. Portraits: Bradleys Head and Balmoral, including Balmoral Rotunda. Reception: Bathers’ Pavilion, Balmoral.
At Bradleys Head, we watched Arthur speak from a card while Sabine stood facing him, the stone jetty and water right behind them. We caught their kiss with the skyline soft across the water, then stepped back so the city could fill a wide frame of their walk along the jetty. Later at Balmoral, we photographed them close together on waterfront rocks beneath the pink evening sky. Back inside Bathers’, colourful flowers ran the length of the tables. Sabine and Arthur came into the reception hand in hand, and we kept the watching guests in frame when Arthur lifted her during their first dance. The gallery closes with a quiet black-and-white portrait we made on Bathers’ terrace after dark.
At Bradleys Head, the stone jetty sits beside the ceremony setting. We could include the harbour in a wide ceremony frame, then use the same stretch of waterfront for portraits without a second trip. At Bathers’ Pavilion, Balmoral's pink evening light gave way to flower-lined tables and candlelit wall niches indoors. We went back onto the terrace after dark for a simple night portrait.
