Country Wedding Photos

Country weddings in Victoria run on farms, restored woolsheds and private homesteads, many of them from the 1800s, in the Macedon Ranges, Daylesford, Gippsland, the Yarra Valley and the country west of Geelong. Most have accommodation on the property or nearby, so the wedding stretches into a two or three day stay with dinner the night before and a recovery the morning after. The drive out is part of it, and paddock light runs later and lower than city light.

Veri photographs and films country weddings across Victoria and interstate. We have photographed 53 country weddings so far. We have also filmed weddings at Warrawong Estate, the woolshed venue on Exford Road at Eynesbury, west of Melbourne, and photographed Lindsey and Dennis at Yering Farm, where the converted hay barn goes amber by evening and the orchard side catches the softest late light. Both take the shape most country days do: vows outside, a shed for dinner, and a fence line for the portraits.
